JK Lakshmi announced to expand the capacity of its Chhattisgarh plant by 2.3 Mta clinker capacity and 1.2 Mta cement capacity. The investment is US$ 203m. The company had installed the integrated Durg plant (photo) in Chhattisgarh in India in 2015. JK Lakshmi Cement currently operates 16.5 Mta capacity. This expansion aims to bolster its presence in the growing markets of Eastern and Central India, aligning with its goal of reaching 30 Mta capacity.
