Gebr. Pfeiffer has received an order to supply a MVR 1800 C-4 vertical roller mill for
grinding calcined clay in the Holcim cement plant Čížkovice in the Czech Rep. The order to
supply the mill was placed by the Chinese general contractor CBMI, who is providing the
technology for the clay calcination. The highly efficient MVR is characterised by extremely
smooth running and high technical availability, even at highest grinding fineness, which is
why it is perfectly suited for grinding such clinker substitutes.
