Conch Cement from China doubled the capacity with its new 5000 tpd Phnom Penh cement plant in Cambodia. The ignition of the new line started early this month. The first 5000 tpd line by Conch has been installed in 2023 in Battambang province, about 200 km northwest of capital Phnom Penh. With a combined capacity of 4.0 Mta Conch now holds about 35% of the cement capacity in the country.
