The strategic partnership between the two companies will leverage Fortera’s carbon mineralisation technology ReAct with Graymont’s calcium-based solutions expertise and its industrial network in the USA. ReAct is a highly engineered green cement product that is developed through Fortera’s patented ReCarb® process. The process mineralizes CO2 into cementitious product solutions and has been first implemented by Fortera’s 15 000 tpy ReCarb® flagship facility (photo) in Redding, California.
