US concrete and building materials supplier Maschmeyer Concrete ordered a Gebr. Pfeiffer ready2grind slag grinding system for a facility at Port Redwing in Tampa Bay, Florida. The new grinding plant marks a major strategic step for Maschmeyer into supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), aiming to vertically integrate its supply chain and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable construction solutions in Florida (photo: concrete plant). The facility will be equipped with an MVR 3070 C-4 vertical roller mill powered by 1,650 kW and will have conveyor access to Berth 32 at Port Redwing. It is scheduled for commissioning in early 2027.
