BUA Cement has signed an EPC contract with CBMI for a new cement line in Sokoto State in Northwest Nigeria. The US$240m project shall be operational in about 20 months and will be powered by the company’s Kogi LNG plant. The project shall increase BUA’s total cement capacity to 20 Mta (photo: existing integrated Sokoto line by BUA) and shall boost Nigeria’s Northwest and other regional markets.
