India’s JK Cement commissioned this week the 3.0 Mta split grinding plant at Bihar (photo: Split grinding unit at Jhajjar). This expansion is in line with the recent grey cement capacity expansions at Panna, Prajagray and Hamirpur with 1.0 Mta each and the 3.3 Mta integrated clinker production plant at Panna, which had been commissioned 3rd Dec. last year. JK Cement is also developing an integrated cement plant at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. This will increase the clinker capacity by 4.0 Mta and the cement capacity by 3.0 Mta. The plant shall be operational in 1H FY28
