The company will expand its solar power generation from 4% to 18% by 2028 to achieve annual CO2 savings of 5000 t. The company is partnering with Enertron to develop a 20 MW solar unit with 25,000 solar panels and a 16 MW battery storage system. The new solar plant will be Slovenia’s largest unit as by now the market has been dominated by small-scale installations. The capacity of the solar unit has the enough power to cover the consumption of approximately 5,000 Slovenian households.
