SCCC (Siam City City), which operates in Vietnam through INSEE Vietnam, is considering a 2nd production line at its Hon Chong cement plant. Since being established in 1994, the company, formerly known as Holcim Vietnam, has over the years become a leading cement producer and waste management company in the Southern Vietnam. INSEE has more than 1,100 employees working at 5 different cement production sites. In July this year, the Can Tho cement terminal expansion project has been completed to expand the company’s cement distribution network across the Mekong Delta region. Anyhow, for the Ho Chong expansion no schedule and capacity has been given yet.
