UltraTech Cement expanded its manufacturing footprint in Andhra Pradesh with commissioning the Petnikota Cement Works on the east coast of Southern India. The integrated cement plant is located in the Petnikota village in the Nandyal district, in the Rayalaseema region. The plant has a capacity of 3.3 Mta clinker and 3.6 Mta cement and was taken from groundbreaking to commissioning in 14 months. The investment has been around Rs. 26.5 bn. With the new plant, UltraTech reported domestic grey cement capacity of 204.7 Mta as of September 2026, with global capacity reaching 210.1 Mta, including overseas operations.
