China’s Anhui Conch Cement Group and AVIC International Beijing Co., Ltd have signed a strategic agreement to integrate their international business development efforts and promote technological innovation aimed at decarbonizing cement production. The two companies will collaborate on international business development efforts and support industrial-scale implementation of decarbonization technologies at Conch plants (photo: PT Conch Cement Indonesia; South Kalimantan plant). The agreement includes AVIC’s subsidiary KHD Humboldt Wedag. The companies will collaborate to implement industrial-scale application of key cement decarbonization solutions, including but not limited to calcined clay, oxyfuel clinker lines, and electro-calcining.
