Polands’s Dyckerhoff, member of the Buzzi Group, received the decision of the Starachowice Economic Zone for the support of an important investment at the Nowiny cement plant. The company will invest more than PLN 213m for the modernisation of the technological line to keep the production at the previous level with low carbon dioxide emissions. The Noviny cement plant has a cement capacity of 1.6 Mta. The investment is in line with Buzzi’s decision to keep the CO2 emissions of its cement plants below 500 kg/t cementitious product by 2030.
