The new 0.75 Mta CISINOB cement grinding and packing plant has been inaugurated in the commune Ziniare in the plains of Leongo in Burkina Faso. The Sino Burkina Industrial Cement Company is a joint venture between investors in China and Burkina Faso and can produce 2000 tpd bagged cement (photo). The company creates 110 permanent jobs and 300 seasonal jobs and will significantly expand the local construction industry and contribute to the revitalisation of the national economy.
