India’s Ambuja Cement is on track to expand its 109 Mta cement and 66 Mta clinker capacity at the end of 3Q 2026 to 117 Mta cement and to 69 Mta clinker capacity by the end of March, which corresponds to the end of FY 2026 (photo: large 6.1 Mta Sanghipuram plant in Gujarat). 4 more grinding units (GU) and 1 integrated unit (IU) will be commissioned. The GUs are Salai Banwa (2.4 Mta), Dahej (1.2), Kalamboli (1.0) and Bathinda (1.2). The Jodpurh IU (Penna) project will provide 3.0 Mta clinker and 2.0 Mta cement. In 1Q FY2027 two projects Warisaliganj (2.0 Mta GU) and Maratha, Line2 with 4.0 Mta clinker capacity will be commissioned.
