Cemex has contributed to the development of a key strategic infrastructure project in the Czech Republic by supplying a specialty concrete mix for bridge structure of a new motorway section between the towns of Hořice and Sadová. The 10.4-kilometer stretch includes four major bridges, with the final bridge now completed. Finishing works are currently underway (photo), and the project remains on schedule for its planned December 2025 opening. To minimize thermal stress and streamline logistics, over 1,200 cubic meters of concrete, designed for exceptional durability, were placed during two coordinated nighttime pours.
