China United Qingzhou Co. Ltd., which is part of CNBM, is planning a 200,000 tpa CO2 plant on the basis of full oxygen combustion enrichment and purification. It is the first project in the Shandong province and the first large-scale project in China’s cement industry. The project is a joint development effort between the TCDRI and Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering. CO2 will be concentrated up to 75% and used in the industry.
