China’s BBMG Group is driving carbon emissions reduction of its cement plants despite a continuous shrinking demand and continuous losses of the industry. BBMG is China’s 3rd largest cement producer with close to 110 Mta of clinker and 180 Mta cement capacity. The company is establishing ultra-low carbon production bases and green industrial parks while advancing energy efficiency and intelligent manufacturing. The company has implemented a 100% solid waste clinker production line and developed low-carbon products. By 2025, BBMG aims to achieve an energy consumption exceeding 40% of the clinker benchmark rate.
