In the first 8 months in 2026, China’s cement production decreased by -10.0% YoY to 997.01 Mt, after 1108.22 Mt in the same period last year and 1165.96 Mt in the year before. In 3 years the cement production in China declined by 338.1 Mt, which is almost equal to the complete annual production in 2025 in the USA, Europe incl. Turkey and all CIS countries.
