CIMAF plans capacity increase of Chad grinding plant

Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF) plans to increase the capacity of its grinding plant in Lamadji, north of the Chad’s capital N’Djamena. The plant is in operation since June 2017 and has a capacity 0.5 Mta, which can be increased to 1.0 Mta. The plant produces quality cement that meets international standards. The next step is to enhance the capacity to 0.7 Mta by next year to meet growing market demands. CIMAF is a key Moroccan cement player established in 12 African countries with production capacities of about 10 Mta.
