With the commissioning of the 2.0 Mta Sattur greenfield cement grinding plant (photo) in Tamil Nadu in August 2023 , and 3 more ongoing expansion projects, Dalmia Bharat, the 4th largest cement producer in India is planning 46.6 Mta cement capacity at the end of the FY. There is an ongoing debottlenecking project in Belgaum in KA, and brownfield projects in Ariyalur in TN and Kadapa, AP. Dalmia is striving for a capacity of 110-130 Mta by 2031.
