Domicem, which is part of Italian Colocem Spa, commissioned at Sabana Grande de Palenque a 3500 tpd kiln line and expanded their cement capacity in the Dominican Republic to 3.8 Mta. The new kiln line was built by Sinoma CBMI at a cost of US$ 120m. The project started in 2021, the official plant inauguration is next month.
