Heidelberg Materials recently published the projected evoZero cement production volumes of fully approved projects in Europe (photo: Brochure with evoZero). The volumes are achieved by the cement production in Brevik, Norway and Padeswood in the UK. In 2025, 100 kt will be produced, this will increase to 500 kt in 2028, supplied from Brevik. In 2029 Padeswood will contribute for the first time 400 kt, in total with Brevik it will be 950 kt in 2029 and 1350 kt by 2030. Nice numbers, when compared to the company’s cement capacity of about 62000 kt in Europe and 170000 kt, worldwide.
