Fiji’s Pacific Cement modernizes Lami grinding plant

Pacific Cement, which is formerly known as Fiji Cement, announced to modernize its Lami cement grinding plant. The plant is using a ball mill with a cement capacity of 600 tph from grinding imported clinker, supported by partners Holcim and Fletchers of New Zealand. Two types of cement are produced for local consumption and for export markets such as the Samoas, Tonga, Tuvalu and Kiribati. Shareholder is Fijian Holdings Limited, who decided to modernize the plant within the next 2 years.
