In the first 9 month of 2023 the cement production in Japan declined by – 11.5% to 35.017 Mt, after 39.559 Mt in the same period the year before. However, in the 3.Q in 2023 the decline was only -8.3% to 11.733 Mt, which is a little improvement in the cement market, when compared to the first 2Q 2023.
