
India’s Ambuja Cement Limited, part of the diversified Adani Portfolio and the world’s ninth largest cement company, delivered robust performance for the first quarter ended 30 June 2026. The company achieved a quarterly sales volume of 17.1 million tons and improved the clinker factor by 2.1% YOY to 63.7%. The company’s cement capacity stood at 109 Mta as of 30 June 2026 and is expected to reach 119 Mta by the end of FY’27. Trial production commenced at Dahej (1.2 Mta), Salai Banwa (2.4)), Bathinda (1.2)) and Jodhpur (2.0)). Kalamboli (1.0 Mta), Warisaliganj (2.4) will have trials in Q2 and Maratha clinker line (4.0 Mta) will be commissioned in 2027.
