India’s Dalmia Cement plans a strategic investment of a ₹3,520 crore to enhance cement capacity in Maharashtra and Karnataka. This includes a 3.6 Mta kiln line with 3.0 Mta cement grinding capacity at its Belgaum plant (Photo) in Karnataka, alongside another 3.0 Mta greenfield cement grinding plant in Pune in Maharashtra. This will increase the company’s cement capacity to 55.5 Mta and will bring them closer to the goal of 75 Mta capacity by FY 2028.
