
India’s Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd (DCBL) commenced trial production at its 9500 tpd (3.6 Mta) clinker line in Umrangso, Assam, which shall be operational by 3Q FY2026, supplied by KHD Humboldt Wedag (Photo: plant during construction). DCBL projects a cement capacity of 75.0 Mta by FY 2028, the Belgaum and Kadapa expansion projects are on also track. The company reported quarterly results in 2Q FY 2026 with revenue growth of 11% year-on-year to Rs. 3,417 crores and EBITDA growth of 60% to Rs. 696 crores. The capital expenditure has been revised to INR 3,000 crores, down from a previous guidance. The company projects FY2027 capex at around INR 4,000 crores.
