The green power mix of India’s JK Cement increased from 19% in FY20 to 51% in FY24, moving to green clean energy. Now, the green power capacity stands at 182.9 MW, of which 100.6 MW is from captive solar and wind power and 82.3 MW from waste heat recovery (WHR) systems in the integrated cement plants. In the last financial year, alone 28.3 MW of wind power and 25.49 MW of solar power capacity have been added. The company targets a green power mix of 75% by FY30.
