India’s JK Cement has a current grey cement capacity of 22.2 Mta, after completing the Ujjain grinding unit end of last year in Madhya Pradesh. The Prayagraj grinding unit with 2.0 Mta capacity is on track to be commissioned Aug.-Sept. this year in Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, at the Panna plant (Photo Line 1) in Madhya Pradesh a new clinker line with 3.3 Mta capacity is planned as well as 1.0 Mta cement grinding expansions, each in Panna, Prayagraj and Hamirpur, plus 3.0 Mta brownfield grinding units in Bihar in East India to expand their reach.
