India’s JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. has commissioned a 2nd grinding unit in Surat with a capacity of 1.35 Mta. Alongside this, the company has completed a debottlenecking of the JKP cement mill in Rajasthan and expanded the cement capacity to 17.9 Mta, including UCWL 4.7 Mta capacity. The company plans to further increase the capacity to 21.6 Mta in FY2027 and to 32.6 Mta by FY2030, when UCWL’s line 3 will become operational.
