My Home Cement, which is part of India’s My Home Group, ordered an MVR 6000 C-6 vertical roller mill by Gebr. Pfeiffer for producing slag cement (photo: Same mill size in India). The scope of supply includes all components, from the raw material hoppers to the cement silos. For the new production facility, clinker will be transported from Southern India and processed in the grinding plant in Eastern India with locally available blast furnace slag and fly ash. Starting in FY 2007, the new grinding unit shall improve the company’s position in India’s cement.
