Lafarge in Algeria reached the milestone of 1 Mt of clinker and cement exports in October 2023. The company has initiated several investment projects to improve export logistics in the harbours of Djen-Djen, Annaba and Oran and to become a major exporter. A major investment is the installation of a large-capacity clinker loader in the Port of Djen Djen this year.
