Partanna Arabia, a Riyadh-based climate technology company, signed a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s premier real estate developer ROSHN, to initiate the construction of a carbon negative concrete production plant. The facility shall produce carbon-negative pavers, blocks, tiles and precast elements with Partanna Global’s proprietary concrete formula, which can be made from recycled ingredients without using Portland cement. Operating at full capacity, in a few years the planned facility has the potential to generate 1.3 million carbon credits annually.
