After 11 years of halted operations, PACEMCO, which is now under the San Miguel Corporation (SMC), intends to close the gap in the cement market in Mindanao. Its revival under SMC marks a renewed investment in Surigao City’s economic future. A timetable for the plant reopening has not been given.
