Cimpor, which is part of the OYAK Group, awarded thyssenkrupp Polysius with an order for a clay calcination plant in Tema, Ghana. The plant will use a flash technology and will have a capacity of 1280 tpd of activated clay. Once operational in 2025, the Tema plant will save up to 0.44 Mta of CO2 emissions.
