Syria’s General Company for Cement and Building Materials (Al-Omran) and UAE-based A³&Co. have signed a strategic cooperation agreement that aims to accelerate the transformation of Syria’s cement sector. The collaboration includes the development of the third production line at Hama Cement Plant. The current cement capacity of the plant stands at 3300 tpd. On 23th of February 2025, the plant resumed operations and is producing various types of cement, including Portland, blended, and sulfate-resistant cement.
