Peru’s cement production down -4.5% in 7M 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, Peru’s cement exports massively declined by -23.1% to only 30 kt, after 39 kt in the same period in 2023. The March YoY decline had exactly he same figure as the average 1.Q decline.
In the first quarter of 2024, cement production in Peru declined by -2.9% to 2.611 Mt, after 2.690 Mt in the same period last year. The YoY decline in March has been -2.8%, close to the 1.Q average.
