Titan America’s Roanoke cement plant (RCC) in Virginia can receive a US$ 61.7m funding for its planned calcined clay production line. The project has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as a ground-breaking decarbonization initiative within a US$ 6.3 bn industrial demonstrations program. RCC’s selection demonstrates Titan America’s commitment to lowering emissions as part of Titan Cement Group’s ambitious goal to deliver net-zero concrete by 2050. Projected plant size and timing has not been communicated yet.
