The TITAN Cement Group has signed a share purchase agreement via Titan SA to acquire 100% of Traçim Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (Traçim) in one of the most attractive markets in Türkiye. The purchase price is approximately US$190m and includes a modern integrated cement plant (photo) with an annual production capacity of approximately 2.5 Mta cement in the Vize district of Kırklareli province in the greater Istanbul market. The investment strengthens Titan’s operations in western Türkiye, where it already owns a grinding plant and pozzolana quarry in the Marmara region.
