Limak Çimento is in a process to expand its solar power generation at 4 locations in Türkiye by about 35.9 MWp to safe electricity costs and support sustainable energy generation in the cement production. Sinoma Overseas Development will install the solar power plants (SPP) at the Kurtalan (photo), Şanlıurfa, Derik and Ergani cement plants with a planned power generation of 19,903 MWp in Kurtalan, 7,722 MWp in Şanlıurfa, 4,376 MWp in Derik and 3,918 MWp DC in Ergani, totalling 35,919 MWp, for a total cost of US$ 23m.
