Udaipur Cement Works Limited (UCWL), which is a subsidiary of JK Lakshmi Cement announced the commissioning of its 2nd clinkerisation unit. The line has a clinker capacity of 1.5 Mta as the first line at Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. At the end of this FY 23-24, UCWL will operate a cement capacity of 4.7 Mta. The company also installed a floating solar power plant of 1 MW at its mines.
