In the Ukraine, the cement im- and exports in 2023 are not a reflection of the construction demand. While the imports increased 46% to 0.024 Mta, the exports increased by 122% to 1.311 Mta. This shows that during the war with Russia, much more cement still can be produced than what can be consumed.
