UltaTech Cement increased its grey cement capacity in India by debottlenecking by 2.4 Mta to 140.8 Mta. Alongside with its overseas capacity of 5.4 Mta, the total cement capacity currently stands at 146.2 Mta. The debottlenecking projects were in the integrated Pali cement plant in Rayastan (Photo: plant with 6-stage, 2-string preheater), resulting in 0.8 Mta additional capacity, as well as in the 3 grinding units Magdalla in Gujarat (+0.4), Sonar Bangla in West Bengal (+0.6) and Neemka Thana in Rajasthan (+0.6 Mta).
