VICEM Ha Tien Cement has signed last week an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a WHR project at its Kien Luong cement plant in Vietnam (photo). The ECP project has been awarded to Sinoma for an investment of US$ 7.5m, signed in a lump sum contract with a duration of 16 months. VICEM’s plan is to utilize waste heat to generate electricity, while contributing to reduced CO₂ emissions, saving energy and moving towards sustainable production.
