A state-of-the-art cement plant with a capacity of 3,500 tpd started construction in the Bayganin district of Aktobe Region, by QazCement, with an option to extend the plant capacity to 2.0 Mta in a 2nd phase. QazCement is a partnership between local Primus Capital and Sinoma Cement, who are building the plant. The first phase of the construction shall be operational in 2027 (we reported here 15.01.2025). The total investment is approximately US$ 200m and will create 1,260 jobs – 900 during the construction phase, 250 in the first operational phase, and over 110 in the second phase.
