The Tokyo Cement Group expanded the cement capacity of its advanced Trincomalee grinding plant in Sri Lanka by 1.0 Mta. The company is the undisputed market leader in the country with around 4.0 Mta cement capacity. After a slowdown of the market in FY 22/23, the country’s cement demand increased by 18.9% YoY in FY 24/25.
