Honduras’ CENOSA (Cementos del Norte), has commissioned a new VRM in its Bijao cement plant in Choloma, which has a cement capacity of 2.3 Mta. The new VRM is a Loesche LM 46.2+2 for the grinding of blended cements. The investment of about US$40m will enable the company to expand its grinding capacity and optimize the productions of different blended cements with lower clinker factor, to improve the carbon footprint and the sustainability of the local cement production.
