Saudi’s Qassim Cement will build a 4th production line at its Buraydah cement plant with a production capacity of 10,000 tpd clinker. Yesterday, an EPC-contract has been signed with Sinoma International Engineering. The contract value is US$ 298m. The new clinker production line will use latest technology and is scheduled for completion within 24 months, while the project will mainly replace older and less-efficient capacity.
