Titan Egypt, which is a member of Titan Materials, announced a capacity expansion by 1 Mta and increasing the usage of alternative fuels in kiln processing. The company operates two cement plants in Beni Suef (photo) and Alexandria with a combined capacity of 4.5 Mta, which will rise to 5.5 Mta following the planned expansions. Titan Egypt currently exports 30% of its production, the target for 2026 is 1 Mta.
