Maple Leaf Cement is now Pakistan’s 3rd largest cement producer, after the acquisition of the major shares of Pioneer Cement. Maple Leaf is a subsidiary of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited (KTML). Pioneer operates a 5.2 Mta cement plant (photo) at Chenki in the Khusshab district in the heart of Punjab Province. Maple Leaf operates a 8.1 Mta cement plant in Lahore with the largest single cement site in the country.
